BBC – How Canada became an Education Super power
Only problem is the electorate who vote in these populist leaders don’t care about this information. They fly in the face of it, they don’t want more education as that leads to more questions, liberal thoughts and behaviour and defiance to conservative authority. They don’t want more science and math to explain things. They don’t want more equity. They want their brand of exceptionalism and selective meritocracy. They want to go back to their mystical belief systems. To them all that is wrong with society is because of this ‘education’, so to get back to obedience, simplicity and belief they must destroy the liberal public educational institution. This article preaches to the converted and does nothing to try and convince those that disapprove of it. How to do that?
